The Azure Islands are a set of managed (or zoned) sims,
which places the residents of the sim in control of what
appears in it. Anyone is free to own land in the Azure Islands
providing they stick to the basic rules. Land is availible without
need to pay Tier to Linden Labs (see our FAQ for more details)
The Azure Islands is tiered per sqm (rather than at abitrary levels), and offers
both US$ and L$ rates.
Land on the Azure Islands can be sold to another person, however they must
agree to the zoning rules and terms of service. To transfer (or sell) land
to another user, please contact one of the Azure Islands Admins.
