We’ve begun resizing and splitting a few unoccupied parcels on the islands – many of which were previously merged by residents into ’super sized’ parcels. Many of these parcels were too large for the average resident, so we’ve reduced a number of them back down to smaller sizes. The following is a quick summary of the changes we’ve made so far – this will be the first of many posts on the subject.

Alioth – Alioth is a residential region with a standard prim ratio. It used to consist of several 8,000sqm plots, however we have added additional roads and converted several of these larger parcels down into 4,000-5,000sqm sized plots. (Average tier is approx L$1,500/wk for 1,050 prims)

Mercury – We’ve sliced down the number of plots in this sim from 3 to 7, we’ve also lowered the coastline a little to make some more varied coastline (including a few additional islands). The parcels in this region all have double prims – a 1494 prim island with 3,264sqm has a tier of only L$2,220/wk.

Gliese – We’ve converted the big plot in the middle from one plot to three – these are all single prim plots and a example 6,064sqm lot with 1,387 prims is only L$2,080 a week.

Centaurus – The big 16,000sqm parcel in the corner is no-more. We’ve replaced it with two parcels, one 9,792sqm (L$3,188wk with 2,465 prims) and a 5,744sqm parcel with 1,445 prims (L$1,983/wk).
