It’s been a while since we had an effective reseller and referral program in place – the difficulties in managing referrals for a large estate made us outgrow and discontinue the program sometime about when we crossed over 200 sims. We’re relaunching our referral program now, and we’ve got a keen eye on making it possible to operate a reseller business completely off our referral system. We’ve automated this version; so we’re going to be able to handle it a lot faster than in the past, the program details are below.
The benefits:
As soon as the sale is made and the user has made their first tier payment, we will give you L$0.25/sqm straight away, If you refer someone who sticks around for more than 30 days, we’ll give you an extra L$0.5/sqm, finally if they stick around for another 30 days (60 days total), we’ll give you a further L$0.25/sqm. You can apply this to tier for our properties, or take it in cash – payouts will be done once a week when we run through the reports. In addition, we will give a L$5,000 bonus to the top referrer each month.
In short you can earn L$1/sqm selling land on our estate – L$0.25/sqm as soon as the first tier payment is made, L$0.5/sqm when they stay for more than 30 days, and another L$0.25/sqm after 60 days.
How it works:
When a referrered buyer purchases a parcel from us, the referrer (i.e. you) has one hour to report the sale to us via our referrers form. If the sale is legitimate and tier has been paid on the terminal, we’ll give you L$0.25/sqm. Our system will then track the parcel ownership for the next two months; if the same user keeps the parcel for 30 consecutive days, we will pay L$0.5/sqm to the referring avatar account, we’ll pay the next L$0.25/sqm after 60 consecutive days of ownership. If the user sells the parcel or abandons it, the referral will be lost.
Important note; this only applies to land being sold by AzureIslands Ambassador or Land Cyanic (our official accounts). Land sold by third parties is not eligible for the referral bonus. Referrers must sign up in our new reseller system – this will also let you keep track of your referrals, their status and when the next payments will be made. If the parcel was sold on a deeply discounted promotion, referrals will not be eligible – however it will count towards sales totals for the monthly bonus.

Tier Pricing
Our Tier – it’s pretty low. For a 4096sqm plot with 937 prims – tier is only L$1.6/prim/wk (or L$1,503/wk). The chart below shows how our progressive discount system works on a prim/wk pricing. From our examinations, the average is usually L$2.0/prim/wk+. You can see our full pricing (and a LL comparison) on our full price chart.

Customer Service & Support
We have paid support staff – there’s no volunteer’s in our support dept. Our support staff is handled as a business – this means we’ve got a good team of dependable customer service represntitives. We handle upwards 50,000 support requests each year and we guaruntee to get back within 24 hours (but usually it’s a lot less). We did a customer service survey at the beggining of the year, over 77% of respondants gave us a 6 or 7 (out of 7) for support quality, 58% gave us the full marks.
Longevity
We’ve been running as Islands since March 2005. That mean’s we’re in our fifth year running – we’ve been doing SL related activities all the way back to 2002. We’re one of the biggest estates in SL and have the second largest resident operated continent, just south of the main mainland continent.
