What is the tier discount?

The Azure Islands offers a progressive tier discount, based on the amount of land you have with us in total in your pricing plan. This ensures that the total cost of ownership is competitive across all your parcels rather than having to own a large parcel to recieve the right pricing.

This discount is automatic and transparent. The discount will come into effect automatically as you buy more land in a single pricing plan (this means that X1 and X2 land is incompatible for discounts, as is regions in 195 and 295 zones). If you wish to find out how much of a discount you are getting, you can use an alternate account to left-click on your payment terminal and check the tier pricings.

How much is the discount?

The discount ensures that at various square meter holdings, the total amount you pay should match the amount listed in our covenant for tier holdings. Our progressive discount does have a minimum cost per square meter, after which no further discount can apply.

Is it possible for an individual to get an extra tier discount?

No. At the moment the Azure Islands tier system is built to bill every person the same amount for each pricing plan based on your total holdings in that plan. It is impossible for us to remove or add to the discount on a per-user basis.

I have a parcel jointly paid with a friend, who's account is used for the discount calculations?

The first account in our listings will be the account which the discount is calculated against, this will usually be the first person to buy the plot (with extra people being added on the top). If you have group land and are unsure of the order, and have multiple parcels, please contact us and we can check if it is applying properly.
